To celebrate the launch, Coral Expeditions has announced a maiden voyages series to explore the remote islands of the Indian Ocean. The voyages in this series are a rare opportunity to discover untouched areas famed for their natural beauty in the company of expert guides and naturalists.

The ship’s maiden voyage is a 25-night cruise from Singapore to the Seychelles, calling at Penang in Malaysia, Banda Aceh in Indonesia, Hambantota and Galle in Sri Lanka, and multiple islands in the Maldives. Spot leopards in a national park, snorkel and dive on isolated reefs, meet giant tortoises and swim at the world’s most beautiful beach.

The second voyage in the series travels between the Seychelles and Mauritius for 15 nights. See inquisitive lemurs and explore fragrant vanilla plantations in Madagascar, swim and snorkel off beautiful islands, then climb the rugged volcano at the centre of Reunion island.

On the series’ third voyage, guests will discover little-visited Sub Antarctic islands. Sailing from Mauritius to Fremantle, the voyage has no set itinerary and will take a research-based approach to call at ports as they are available. Incredible wildlife, from penguins and seals to thousands of birds, will be in sight every day and guests will gain a fascinating insight into this untouched part of the world.
