Luxperience 2024 – An Overwhelming Success
The 2024 Luxperience industry showcase closed on Friday 22 Novmember with a classic cocktail event and live music to celebrate and thank more than 120 luxury travel industry partners, and the 200+ high-calibre advisors for the high level of support and
overwhelmingly positive feedback at what has proven to be an engaging environment for meaningful connection.
The focus of the 2024 Luxperience Showcase was to deliver a highly-curated selection of the right luxury brands, including many newcomers, to directly connect with well-qualified buyers to generate engagement and new business opportunities, along with exceptional and relevant luxury travel industry insights.
Based on event commentary received to-date, the mix of personal business meetings, social events and industry sessions have generated key highlights including:
1. The Emergence of New Products:
Luxperience has become a critical platform for launching innovative products in the luxury travel market. The event provides an exclusive space for brands to connect with influential travel advisors, enhancing their reach, credibility, and business growth. Notably, 40 products (33%) scheduled for launch in 2025 were previewed at Luxperience 2024, with 75 suppliers (60%) participating for the first time.
2. Quality Over Quantity in Buyer Selection:
Stricter criteria for buyer attendance has elevated the quality of delegates, leading to more valuable and meaningful connections and business opportunities. Of the 300 expressions of interest received, 190 high-calibre travel advisors were selected, with 65% attending Luxperience for the first time. This approach ensures a diverse and qualified audience, enriching the overall value of time invested by both suppliers and advisors.
3. Curated Audience Matching:
Luxperience’s focus on curated audience engagement has resulted in productive mutual matches for appointments, with 50% of meetings mutually requested by both parties. This strategic approach enhances the likelihood of meaningful and lasting business partnerships, aligning the Luxperience goals with the needs of its high-end participants.
4. Focus on Quality over Quantity:
Luxperience maintains a strict one-on-one meeting approach at the event, along with 15-minute appointments and a 5-minute changeover period, actively contributing to the quality of the conversations which take place. This formula delivers a calm and serene environment and the chance for both advisors and suppliers to actively participate in genuine two-way conversation, without the need to rush from appointment to appointment in an over-crowded schedule.
