The Cutaway, Barangaroo: New Home for 2026

Curated Travel Marketing, the independent agency behind Luxperience – the Southern Hemisphere’s luxury travel trade forum today announced that its 2026 edition will be held at The Cutaway, Barangaroo Reserve, Sydney, from 17–20 November 2026.

The move marks a deliberate step forward for the event. The Cutaway, one of Sydney’s most architecturally striking venues, carved beneath Barangaroo Reserve and anchored by a 14-metre sandstone wall open to the sky, reflects the elevated standard Luxperience has set for itself as it enters its next chapter under the Curated Travel Marketing banner.

“We’ve been building toward this,” said Lynn Ormiston, Co-Founder of Curated Travel Marketing and Co-Managing Director of Luxperience.

“The Cutaway isn’t just a new venue it’s a statement about where Luxperience is heading. Dramatic, considered, and unlike anywhere else in Australia. It’s a space that does justice to the caliber of the partners and buyers we bring together.”

A Forum Built on Quality. A Venue to Match.

Luxperience has operated for over a decade on a founding principle: quality over volume. With a strictly curated format of over 200 partners and 250 buyers, the event exists to facilitate meaningful, high-value connections across the ultra-luxury travel sector serving the Australasia and Pacific region.

The Cutaway brings that philosophy to life in physical form. Cavernous yet intimate, raw yet refined, it provides the kind of space where the environment itself becomes part of the experience, something Luxperience has always demanded of its host venue.

“The Cutaway doesn’t just host events – it becomes them. That’s exactly what Luxperience needs.” Lynn Ormiston, Co-Managing Director, Curated Travel Marketing.

New Partners. New Buyers. New Energy.

Luxperience 2026 arrives with the strongest partner and buyer cohort in the event’s history. New destination partners joining the forum this year include Wonderful Indonesia – represented by iconic brands Aman and Como Resorts, alongside Tourism Sri Lanka, featuring Uga Resorts and &Beyond.

First-time presence from Greece adds a highly anticipated European dimension, while New Zealand representation has expanded significantly, with a sharp increase in operators spanning helicopter experiences, boutique lodges, and bespoke touring.

The buyer program reflects equally strong momentum. Curated Travel Marketing has deepened its engagement with the world’s leading luxury travel advisor networks, with a 2026 buyer cohort that represents some of the highest-volume luxury specialists across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader Pacific.

“These aren’t incremental additions,” said Ormiston. “The partners and buyers joining Luxperience this year represent a genuine shift in the scope and ambition of the event. The Cutaway is the right stage for what this is becoming.”
