Katrina has worked in Australian media for more than 25 years, with the past decade spent primarily in the luxury travel space. In 2023, Katrina joined respected Australian travel media company Karryon to establish its new luxury storytelling vertical and oversee the editorial team. As a highly experienced former national travel magazine editor, writer and communications professional, she has extensive experience creating and managing both editorial and branded content for print and digital platforms. She is the former editor of national magazines including Luxury Travel; and Vacations & Travel. As a freelancer, her work has been published in: Travel + Indulgence (The Australian); T Magazine Australia (a division of The New York Times); Travel+Leisure Asia; Delicious; Escape (The Daily Telegraph); and Gourmet Traveller.

During her two different tenures at Luxury Travel magazine, she worked extensively on the Gold List Awards – most recently gathering together luminaries for its inaugural judging panel. At Karryon, she has been instrumental in establishing the Karryon Luxury Advisory Board panel. She has been a media guest on numerous luxury global and domestic famils experiencing cruise, airline, hotel and touring products first-hand. She is also a regular attendee of national and global luxury and travel trade events including ILTM Asia Pacific, Further East by The House of Beyond, Luxperience, International Media Marketplace (IMM), Australian Tourism Exchange; and various conferences.
