Bongkoch or "Bee" Satongun is a Thai chef and restaurateur, known for her Michelin starred restaurant, Paste Bangkok, which has received a Michelin star 5 years in a row, from 2018 – 2022. She has expanded the Paste brand to Luang Prabang in Laos and Mittagong in Australia. Paste Bangkok has always been among the list of Asia’s Best Restaurants and since its opening Paste Australia has been very well welcomed by Thai food lovers. Among several international awards and recognitions, in 2018, she was named Asia's Best Female Chef by the World's 50 Best Restaurants. She has been invited to cook at culinary events such as the annual Taste of Paris and Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival 2018. At Paste, dishes represent traditional Thai cuisine, taking inspiration from ancient Thai recipes and royal family cookbooks.
