Adele is a passionate and dynamic force in the tourism sector, driven by a profound belief in the potential for tourism to create stronger economies and better lives.

Adele has a deep understanding of the tourism landscape and experience in strategy and policy development including executive roles with Tourism Australia and peak industry body Tourism & Transport Forum. Until recently, Adele was the Travel & Tourism sector lead at Deloitte Australia and a partner with Deloitte Access Economics.

There she worked with governments and private sector clients across the tourism spectrum from aviation to cruising, hotels and business events, sports, major events and attractions. Her work has provided critical insights, forecasts and an extensive range of studies, economic analysis and evaluations to help ensure the sector is on a solid path to sustainable growth.

Passionate about major cities and regional destinations, she has supported the development of national and state, territory and destination tourism strategies and delivered the national regional tourism satellite account model which helps decision makers and destinations understand the importance of tourism.

A respected voice in the industry and thought leader, Adele has served on the Tourism Research Advisory Board, the Tourism Forecasting Reference Panel and other industry panels and committees and most recently was part of the Industry Data and Expert Analysis committee of Thrive 2030. She is a frequent presenter at industry conferences and has been the author of Deloitte’s Tourism Market Outlook and numerous thought leadership reports over the last seven years.

Adele's influence extends beyond tourism; for the last five years, Adele has been a member of the Fair Work Commission’s Expert Panel which sets the annual minimum wage.
