Sydney 28 April 2016: Luxperience is pleased to announce Melinda O’Rourke and Belinda Melocco as the newest members to the Luxperience Advisory Board. The Board is committed to continuously discovering, analysing, researching and innovating in the prestigious and experiential travel and events market. Welcoming Melinda and Belinda as the new inductees will ensure the bar is at the highest level for the business event that connects specialists in aspirational and high end experiences.

Melinda comes from a very impressive background in management and marketing having worked with a variety of prominent global brands. She is currently the chief business development officer with the Emerald Group Investments which manages some of the world’s leading lifestyle brands in Australia such as Bang & Olufsen, Rolex and Graff. Melinda is also founder and director of MO Luxury, a dynamic consulting business specialising in luxury goods and services. Melinda has over 25 years of experience with some of the world’s most luxurious brands including CHANEL, PRADA, and Yves Saint Laurent. Within that expertise is an innate understanding of both tangible and intangible assets including brand equity, positioning, and quality of product and service.
Belinda - who joins prominent law firm King and Wood Mallesons (KWM) this week after many years with Henry Davis York - oversees the planning and executing of innovative client events and sponsorship programs for the firm. Her passion for the meetings industry saw her found and chair the Sydney Event Network, a flourishing industry body for in-house corporate event managers. The membership network boasts over 100 event professionals from 40 of Australia's top professional services firms and banking institutions. In her spare time Belinda is a confidence coach and youth communicator in high schools and also consults as a social and business etiquette expert, leading strategic training for executives focusing on networking, business protocol and building strategic rapport.
Melinda and Belinda join other respected leaders from various segments of the leading and high end experiential market including Langham Sydney general manager and international hospitality leader, Sonia Lefevre; CEO and luxury travel visionary of Aqua Expeditions, Francesco Galli Zugaro; key innovator and creative director for Decorative Events and Exhibitions, Mark Magennis and manager of premium travel strategies for Tourism New Zealand, Ariane Kuebler.
