Ponant and National Geographic launch new cruise partnership

Two leaders in the world of expedition cruising are joining forces to create a series of unforgettable journeys. Ponant and National Geographic Expeditions have just announced an exciting new partnership.


Ponant currently operates a fleet of seven luxurious expedition ships and the line is set to expand to 12 by 2012 with the introduction of new Expedition class vessels and a hybrid icebreaker. National Geographic Expeditions will supply onboard resources like industry experts and photographers to create an immersive experience for all passengers. The new cobranded expeditions will cruise through Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.
