The Napo Wildlife Center in Ecuador’s Yasuni National Park has won two prestigious awards for sustainability. The lodge was named The Americas’ Most Sustainable Hotel at the Boutique Hotel Awards and the Best Green Hotel in the Conde Nast Johansens awards for Central and South America.

The center is an eco-haven 100% owned and managed by the indigenous Kichwa Añangu people. The area surrounding the lodge is a pristine biosphere reserve and one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet. Excursions are led by expert local guides and take in the incredible wildlife and untouched rainforest. Guests also get a deeper understanding of the Añangu way of life and how such projects have transformed this region into a model of sustainable tourism.
