As well as creating new business connections, Luxperience is also a place to learn – and that’s where our revamped Thought Leaders program comes in. Once again we are welcoming industry experts who will speak about the latest trends in the industry. Our brand new breakout sessions will give you one on one interactions with the key tastemakers in the industry, who will share their unique insights and predictions for the future.
Looking directly at upcoming travel trends is Chris Flynn, Director of PATA. His seminar on future trends and innovative thinking will help attendees identify global trends that are set to impact the high end travel industry and give advice on how to take advantage of ensuing changes using innovative thinking.
Anne Biging, founder and CEO of Healing Hotels of the World, believes that wellness is the foundation for success in both personal and business life. In today’s globalised world over half of the business population experience stress leading to burnout. Anne will show how health and wellbeing are of fundamental importance for success not only for the individual but also the wider economy. Travel, and particular experiential travel, has been identified as a way to give people access to new wellness programs and encourage an overall experience of wellbeing.
The world-class social media and marketing team from Tourism Australia will be hosting the third seminar. Jesse Desjardins and Lisa Ronson will share their insights on using 360 video and social media to attract higher yielding travellers. Attendees will learn how Tourism Australia has embraced 360 video and achieved global success in social media. Lisa and Jesse will also reveal how Tourism Australia’s ‘Best of Australia’ program has strategically targeted the premium travel market by focusing on world-class Australian special interest tourism experiences.
